Happy New Year!

∼My favorite Irish Blessing I send to you all∼

May God give you…
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

∼Happy New Year!∼

Haiku Finalist!

animated-emoticon-with-french-accentI don’t know exactly what this means, but the haiku; Carolans on ice made it to the finals, yee haa!  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. There are three three of us that made it to Dan Alatorre’s Haiku Challenge Finals and I want to give a little blessing to us, here it is; “May all of us have good luck with the random topic generator.”

Here I go my topic is:

What is one of your worst habits?

Pop tarts in the sky

Sugary sweet little pie

Irish cream my chi

Flash Fiction Challenge – Haiku

Ok, I’m game,  it’s been a long time since I have written any haiku, but I could not pass up the challenge that Dan Alatorre has presented on his blog.  By the way I am not having a stroke, he has a random topic generator on his site….shoo o…………don’t tell anybody.

This is the topic I got:

What do you do in your spare time?

I will sneak a peek

of the hidden realms outside

movie magic time

😀 Haiku’s are fun!

Carolans on ice

Irish whiskey and honey

Whisper sweet nothings

Ok, that one might be a little funky, better have another one!
