Who I Am and Why I’m Here!

calligraphy-letter-v FramedI started blogging in November of 2014, the idea was to share the art of crochet. By sharing what I make and the patterns I use and to open up a place or format where if I decide to write patterns for crochet projects that I design I can do that. As well as a place where I could get some feedback on my work and meet some great people.

I am also an advocate for the use of essential oils, and so I thought, “While I have a blog started for crochet, maybe I can somehow link the oils in, by writing about my and other Peoples (with their consent of course)  experiences with the oils.” By writing about the oils it helps me learn more about each one of them, it makes me a better advocate and at the same time I am sharing what I learn with you! And I like that! I have already started to post compilations of what I find around the web of the histories and some of the legends/folklore of the different herbs that are used in essential oils, as well as their uses in our modern day.

This blog is also about sharing part of who I am as I go, a little bit of writing, a little bit of picture taking, kind of along the lines of a journal, more of a travel journal is the way I like to think of it.

Who do I want to connect with?

Thats a good question, I want to connect with people who inspire me and in the process if I can turn that around and inspire others who visit this blog………that would be awesome! If I can help others through the information that I post here…………that would be awesome! That is my vision for this blog and I truly hope that it is helpful and interesting with a little whimsical fun added in for good measure.

I think I have my work cut out for me! What do you think?

    1. Hey thats Where I started, crocheting a scarf it is the best place to start and then you just kind of move out from there. I’m happy to meet you, make yourself at home and take advantage of some of the links I have. Well that is when I get this blog all put back together. lol I’m playing with other themes. 🙂

  1. I love that this blog is 100% about who YOU are. You are combining things that make you excited and therefore us readers will benefit from your passion! I have a friend who is always preaching the benefits of oils so I am interested to learn more from you!
